Today’s Thursday, but let’s all take a break & visit Imagination Land. Here…I’ll get you started.
It’s been HOT today.
Visual approximation of how hot it is.
IT’S HAPPY HOUR.
Happy hour this week is at
2889 SE Gladstone St
Portland, OR 97202
No two places name the same happy hour prices, but it seems fairly cheap during normal hours. HH prices 4:30-6:30.
Every review seems to point out all of the other bars it’s by!
Fun fact 1) This is, in fact, nearly “hot as balls”
Fun fact 2) I just googled “testicles” at work- how’s YOUR day?
Indeed! Let’s all play chicken with the weather and meet up at
Because your friends MISS YOU.
Also- check out our friends new video. TAKE IT AWAY, 42 FORD PREFECT!
Happy Hour this week is…
Wait for it…
I SAID WAIT FOR IT.
Because f’ yo liver
4815 SE Hawthorne Boulevard
Portland, OR 97215
It’s the best two-star bar Hawthorne has to offer. And it has local geezers- or WILL, once we get there!
It’s Tuesday! And today’s looking like the best we got this week.
Most of the things I have with engines have done the following in the past week- worked magnificently well! Crapped out! Came back to life!
Come, celebrate my first world problems at
I promise to remember it’s Tuesday & come out.
That doesn’t quite work. Meh.
We’re having happy hour someplace we’ve already been, because I want to be able to walk home and I DON’T NEED ANOTHER REASON WHY. YOU’RE NOT MY REAL DAD.
Happy hour is at 1856/Tiga.
The building at NE 15th & Prescott.
They both have outside seating. No, you can’t walk your drink back & forth, but yes you CAN just sit outside & yell at your friends that are ten feet away.
1856 doesn’t have a happy hour, but they do have a delicious assortment of beers, ciders, wine & sake.
Tiga’s happy hour is 5-8, with discounted drinks and cheap eats.
Tiga will let you walk food over to 1856.
It’s supposed to be not-all-the-way gross out there, people!
How the…seriously, it’s a time warp right now. I both can’t believe it’s already Tuesday, and I’m crushed that it’s only Tuesday.
Tuesdays we meet at:
They tried to have a trivia night last time. We mostly talked over it.
Lincoln’s the announcer, and he’s announcing…stuff. Maybe some things, but definitely stuff.

Happy Hour this week is at

Their happy hour EXISTS from ONE TIME TO ANOTHER!
They have BEVERAGES FOR COMSUMPTION!
Their food COMES ON PLATES!
Someone on Yelp gave them a one star review because THEY HAVE A STELLA SIGN ON THE WALL BUT DIDN’T HAVE STELLA THE ONE TIME HE WENT THERE IN 2009!
We show up around “food eating time”- 7 is a decent time to aim for. Starving people show up around 6, people that are just cool show up around 8.
Holy crap, look at the image that popped up when I searched for “Holmans Portland’
I’m going, you’re going?
At approximately 4:00 a.m. on June 4, 1896, in the shed behind his home on Bagley Avenue in Detroit, Henry Ford unveils the “Quadricycle,” the first automobile he ever designed or drove.
Like a SIR.
To celebrate, today I’m riding my moped to Tonic. Because it’s Tuesday. And I just tricked you in to LEARNING HISTORY STUFF.
They’ve just announced that they’re going to be starting a bar trivia night on Tuesdays at 7:30, so come out before we all get grumpy!
